      Our Parish Ministry attends to the special needs of  our congregation...
Sun City UMC is rightly known as a congregation which loves and cares, and which expresses those attributes in tangible ways. One of those ways is through a Visitation and Care Ministry team coordinated by Pastor Tom and Laura Rothhaar. The mission of this team is to meet the spiritual, emotional, relational, and physical needs of members and friends of Sun City UMC through in home and hospital visits, telephone contacts, and acts of service designed to meet specific needs. Those desiring calls, visits, or other assistance, for themselves or for others, are invited to contact Pastor Tom through the church office (951-679-1016) or at home (951-639-3490).
Sun City UMC is also an active and avid supporter of the Menifee Valley Community Cupboard and Survival Ministries.  Both of these organizations distribute non-perishable food items, clothing and household items to the needy in our community.  Our other Mission projects are:
"Soles for Souls" (clean, gently used shoes can be dropped off at our church office);
"Nothing but Nets";
"Recyclable Program" (administered by the UMW) please place items in the receptacle provided in Harmony Hall;
      OF FAITH
We believe in one God, the Father.  We believe in the Holy Trinity.  We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  We believe that in this church, this place, we will receive God's unequivocal Grace.  We believe if we diligently pursue, our offerings of prayer faithful and true, God will endow us with strength anew.  We believe in our church, our pastors;  our congregation, through worship, witness and testimony we unite as one.  We believe it is our duty to serve others, to steadfastly dispel the root of injustice and evil.  We believe we are never alone, for God, through the ultimate sacrifice has shown, the true meaning of Forgiveness.   AMEN.
