His Ministry Background 

My ministry experience extends from Nagaland to Kolkata India, to the Himalayas, to the rural and small towns and White Suburbs in the Midwest, and finally to Urban churches in Southern California. All are profoundly unique and beautiful. 

The Core of His Pastoral Ministry

Over the years as a pastor, I have learned that essentially people are yearning for a healthy relationship with God as well as people. But, since we are ALL DIFFERENT, sometimes our expectations collide. And sometimes we celebrate our differences but other times we marginalize them and disrespect them. We, as human beings have been struggling to be congruent in the way we speak the truth and live our lives. When we are self-centered we have no room for others. Then what is the meaning of faith without grace? We need to learn to focus less on our religiosity and learn to surrender to Christ's spirituality. ‘Love God with all your heart, mind, and soul and love your neighbor as yourself.’ These few words capsulate my theology. 

What to Expect on Sundays

I guarantee you that my sermons are not going to be boring. I try to be personal and friendly. I preach hope. However, I will challenge you to find ways to grow your faith. I believe in ‘personal salvation with social holiness.’ Faith in Christ must be constant. Our worship style is ‘classical’ with no drums or electric guitars but an acoustic guitar. We sing hymns of faith that are rooted in our biblical theology. 

Be a Disciple to disciple others

Discipleship is about learning to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. ‘To be rooted and grounded’ in Christ. Faith is contagious. Share what you have learned. Be full of grace.  

Educational Experience

I have a Bachelor's degree from Calcutta Bible College, India. MA in Theology from Bethany Theological Seminary, and an MDiv and Doctorate from Northern Baptist Seminary in Illinois.
